Dr. Lawe has been an educator for over twenty years, serving as an elementary, middle and high school teacher. He has taught math and Science courses including several AP-level courses. He is humbled to be teaching at the International Virtual Learning Academy.
He has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University, Master’s degrees from Jones International University and St. Johns University; A certificate of advanced study in Education and a Doctor of Education degree from St. John’s University. He is extremely passionate about working with students and helping them to achieve academic and personal excellence. He works at building lessons that are extremely intellectually engaging and fun to keep the interest of young learners. Further, he is extremely students centered and works on building positive and impressionable relationships with students that will help to set them on a trajectory to attaining academic and personal success.
